At last nights' Social night art demonstration, we were treated to a

wonderful insight into the way Jayson Castor, one of our members, approaches

and paints his beautiful watercolour streetscapes.

Jayson Castor is a watercolour impressionist who focuses on the interpretation of the architecture, the movement of people, shadows, reflections, streetscapes and landscapes from all over the world.

Jayson has been part of various exhibitions from 2014, in countries such as Singapore, Taiwan, Philippines, and Australia. He has received several awards, such as Top 200 Watercolour Artists at the International Watercolour Masters in Shropshire, England, Top 200 Artists at the 2016 Taiwan International Watercolour Competition & Exhibition, Best Promising Young Artist at the South Australia Living Artist (SALA) 2021 and Best Watercolour at Walkerville ArtShow 2022.

In our last Adelaide Art Society Exhibition, Jayson’s beautiful paintings of scenes around Adelaide were much admired.

For our Social Night, Jayson will demonstrate the art process he uses by painting a watercolour of a streetscape.

After the presentation, there will be a chance to socialise with fellow art enthusiasts over supper so bring a small something to share.
