David Kennett – Illustrator, artist and writer
David was born and raised in Adelaide. He studied graphic design and illustration at Underdale College of Advanced Education ( now UniSA) and graduated in 1985 with a Bachelor of Design.
David has worked as a freelance illustrator since that time.
For a period David was employed as an art director for the children’s book publisher Era Publications. He has also taught drawing and illustration at Uni SA and TAFE.
Urban sketching is a popular theme based on his travels. His images are sold on t-shirts, stickers, posters, and phone cases.
David also regularly attends Life Drawing and uses his nude drawings and computer skills to create a unique form of art.
For our Social Night, David will talk about his artistic life illustrated with projected images from his work. It should be fascinating!!
