Social night Art Demonstration with Catherine Hamilton

Catherine Hamilton gave a very informed and graphic demonstration of her particular style of painting, which is quite unique.
Starting off on her canvas with printing inks to lay down a flamboyant base of bright and darker colours, using palette knives,

rags and paper towels to shape the inks into a vibrant base for her vase of flowers which she painted in with acrylics.

Through the demonstration Catherine inserted many useful hints about materials, tools and techniques.
There were many questions from the audience, both during the demonstration and after, which Catherine delighted in 

answering with informed and detailed explanations.

The marvelous evening was completed with a shared supper and much socializing.

WATERCOLOUR/ACRYLIC ART DEMONSTRATION WITH CATHERINE HAMILTON

On the evening of 30th of April from 7.30 – approx. 9.30 at the Grain Store Studio, 112 Margaret Street, North Adelaide.

This art demonstration will be using mixed media, acrylic or watercolour as a base and incorporating acrylic inks.
