Adelaide Art Society Sales Gallery Terms & Conditions
The exhibiting artist will supply the following
- Good quality images of artwork no more than 500kb in size.
- Prices for framed and unframed work.
- The medium used to create the work.
- The size and in the case of sculpture, the weight of the work.
- Their bank BSB number, account name and account number for EFT.
Any sales will attract a 15%, commission to the Society. There is no fee for using the sales page.
The society is only supplying
- The exhibition and sales venue, via the website.
- Initial contact with buyers.
- The collection of funds from the buyer.
- The exchange of contact information between artist and buyer.
The artist is responsible for
- Second contact with the buyer.
- Arranging collection or delivery, packaging, shipping of artwork.
- Any insurance the buyer may want is worked out between buyer and artist.
The Adelaide Art Society accepts no responsibility for the artworks’ safety, packing, collection, deliver or shipping.
The AAS will be responsible for both artist and buyer having each-others’ contact details asap after the sale.
Once the AAS has evidence the artwork has been collected, delivered, or shipped, the buyer’s funds, minus any commission charged by the AAS, will be transferred to the artists’ bank account.
